This week I will be adding in all of the new aprons in the shop. Each one is unique, combining fun colors and patterns to create great aprons for everyone. As always we also offer custom orders based off of any design you see. We can make matching mom & daughter or father & son aprons, children's craft aprons, and so much more. Once the aprons are up we will also be adding tea towels and other fun kitchen items to the shop.
First up is our cupcake inspired cottage apron. A cupcake print on a bright blue. 2 large pockets made in the shape of cupcakes and lots of pretty frosting accents. What a fun treat for any baker or someone extra sweet.

Chocolate Nests and Cinnamon Nests
These were a huge hit at the party/ Easter Egg Hunt last weekend! I would have liked to make the nests themselves just a bit bigger so the Peep didn't hide most of it, but they were a great first try! I got a lot of help from my little chef! Ok, so mostly help eating them, but hey, everyone needs a taste tester right?!
I made a batch of chocolate with marshmallows and Cheerios and a batch of cinnamon chips with marshmallows and Cheerios. I figured this way it was a good variety and used up a few of the cinnamon chips I went a little crazy buying :D
Well here they are! I hope you enjoy!
Please let me know what you think, I always love to hear from you!
I also included some pics of the Marshmallow Pops I made for the party, they were gone in a matter of minutes!

Easter is coming up so quickly
I'm on the search today for a cute/easy recipe to take to our Mom's group Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday. I have extra marshmallows and pink chocolate left from our pink party a few weeks back and decided to make more marshmallow pops, but wanted to bring something else too.
After a conversation I had with my husband about childhood snacks and finding a few great tutorials on Pinterest, I will be making chocolate nests with eggs! They are so cute, I can't wait to take some pics to share!
I found two recipes, one calling for butterscotch chips and one for chocolate chips so I think I'll try a batch of each. I will share how it all turns out and hopefully some pictures of the party too!
For now, here's a picture of my marshmallow pops from the pink party to tide you over!

Baking Up Some New Plans
Hi there,
New plans are turning around in my lovely little head and I am truly so excited. It may be a little while in the refining but for now I'll tell you all about those fun ideas.
I am finally brave enough to share my love of baking with the world ;) Here in Texas it has finally come to pass that home bakers may sell our goodies from our home. With this in mind my husband and I have been talking a lot and thinking a lot and planning a bit about the amazing possibility of doing some catering and event planning.
With this of course comes a lot of details and whatnot, but for now we are going to start out very small and very slow while our little one is still little and staying home with mama! I will be baking up loads of goodies to share and get feedback on and taste testing. The best part of course! I will be sharing ideas for flavors and combinations and I hope you will share your ideas with me too.
I will be making loads of new aprons also and posting them here as well as on the shop and hopefully soon we will have our very own shopping cart! Just last night I took another good long look at my apron fabrics, paired up coordinating colors for ruffles, ties, binding and waist bands and I think you will love what you see. Keep an eye out for a few fabulous baby goodies too!
Well this is the beginning of some new changes. I hope you join me in this amazing adventure! I am so excited to see how this all turns out.
All my best,
Alicia

Newest Aprons to Hit the Shop!
Our most recent addition! better late than never right ;)
I hope you love it!
The perfect Hostess apron for a Halloween get together, Fall party or baking cookies with the little ones!
Black on black swirl print in the body of the apron. A full ruffle, pockets and waistband in a rich orange with black swirl print. These make the perfect complement!
A full 2 yards of fabric in the skirt makes a great twirl and flourish as you enter the room with your tray of sweets!
Extra long ties for a big bow in back or a pop of cuteness to the front!
Makes an excellent gift!
Machine washable. Can be machine dried but would look oh so cute hangin' out on the line!! All seams double turned or edged for a clean finish and durability, as practical as it is adorable!
Comes Wrapped in a coordinating tissue and ribbon with a logo sticker, ready made for gift giving or unwrapping a little giftie for yourself!
Happy Baking! Enjoy!

I also made a few gifts and custom orders these past 2 weeks, and would love to share those with you as well.
The first was for a very dear friend who just got married yesterday and this was made for her wedding shower. She loved it so much, she opened it the moment I walked through the door and wore it the whole night! What a wonderful gift for me, that she loved it so much!
The other was actually a custom order received from that night from a guest who also loved it!
Enjoy!

Introduction of Hair Pretties Hair Clips
Good evening y'all!
I have placed 10 of my Hair Pretties - Hair Clips & Fascinators - up on the shop link. I am really excited with how these turned out!
A little history if you will...
A month or so back, I decided that with the triple digit heat we get here in Texas coming up, it was time for a hair cut. I went from mid back length to just under the ears and I love it! Well because of this, which was of a very 1940's styling, I found myself suddenly wearing and searching for clips. Pretty clips, fun clips, big, small, flowers, feathers, it didn't matter just so I had something to accessorize with. I found some pretty ones in stores but couldn't really find anything I was thrilled with, so I went online to Amazon and did a little search for the alligator clippies that were on the back of almost all the clips I have. I found a bag of 100, and of course thought to myself, that's ridiculous, what am I going to do with 100 clips?? After a few days of milling it over and doing other searches for smaller quantities, I said, to heck with it! Just get the bag, you can always make some for friends!
They arrived a few days later and from that moment on I have just been going crazy with ideas. It hasn't stopped yet, and I am pretty thrilled about that! I have made and warn several and get great feedback on them all the time!! My husband thinks I might be a little silly wearing a pie on my head, but I think it is just too fun and whimsical not to!! He loves me either way, so bring on the pies ;)
Just last week I was driving past the petsmart, taking the pup to doggie day camp and saw a car with dice on the mirror and the light went off in my pretty little head, I have to go home and make a pair of dice for a clip! That kind of thing happens to me all the time. I find that when I go with those, good things come of it :D
I hope you'll agree and I hope you enjoy this first installment of Hair Pretties. I will have more up in the next few days, so stay tuned and dont forget to let me know what you'd like to see up there on the list of items.
Thanks for coming by for a little read.
Have a lovely day & Happy Baking!
